Aug. 8--Sheila Conger knows far and away enough not to make the mistakes of the former owners of the elegant day spa on North Grand Avenue.
With 20 years experience in the beauty business -- the past 15 as owner of Change of Face skin care salon -- Conger has reopened the handsome one-time Thatcher family house at 1402 N. Grand as La Vie en Rose day spa.
She's recruited six other professionals to join her as individual station renters -- in La Vie en Rose that means a completely private room.
