BOYS TOWN TO BEGIN BUILDING IN LAS VEGAS
LAS VEGAS, Nev., Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The Las Vegas Boys Town building campaign steering committee today made several announcements and heard one for which it has been hoping: Boys Town is definitely coming to Las Vegas.
Father Val J. Peter, executive director of Father Flanagan's Boys' Home ("Boys Town") near Omaha, Neb., told the committee of Las Vegas civic leaders that because 55 percent of the local fund-raising goal has been met, Boys Town will immediately begin site preparation work on its five-home campus in Las Vegas. He said he remains confident the goal will be reached in the near future.
