ROTHBURY, Mich. _ This is Michigan, certainly not a place for buckaroos, saguaro cactus and tumbleweed.
But the Double JJ near Muskegon has the cowboy brand all over it.
For one thing the Double JJ, the biggest dude ranch and resort east of the Mississippi, has corralled more than 130 riding horses.
It has cows, too, lots of cows. Not to mention Friday-night rodeos, cattle drives, hayrides, smelly horse barns, barbecues under the stars and spurs that go jingle-jangle.
