History reminds us of wicked King Nebuchadnezzar. As king of Babylon, he marched against Jerusalem killing people and setting everything, including the temple, on fire. He treated people awfully and for no good reason. He was on a real power trip and a complete jerk. The man literally lost his mind.
What people do not realize, though, is what caused Nebuchadnezzar to act that way. The reason he apparently did was that before he became king of Babylon, he had served too long as a public school administrator. If my premise is true, it is no wonder he lost his mind and ate grass with the cattle. The poor man was driven to it out of sheer desperation.
