Aug. 13--SANFORD, Fla.--Butler Daniel knows all about keeping a tidy home.
Decades ago, when his mother demanded that he keep his room neat, the consequences were quite simple. "I used to get a lot of whippings about that," Daniel recalled.
Daniel and several hundred other residents living in the six complexes run by the Sanford Housing Authority are about to risk more than a mother's wrath if they don't keep their apartments clean.
