Arrow-Magnolia International, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARWM) today announced results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2001.

For the second quarter, net sales were $3.53 million compared to $3.78 million in the same quarter last year. Income before nonrecurring items and income taxes in the most recent quarter was $118,000. This amount was reduced by $125,000 paid by the Company to settle a lawsuit, resulting in a net loss of $7,000 for the quarter, compared to net income of $303,000, or 9 cents per share (8 cents diluted) in the year-earlier quarter.
