GOV. CASEY KICKS OFF RECYCLING MONTH

CAMP HILL, Pa., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Calling Pennsylvania communities the "powers of recycling," Gov. Robert P. Casey today helped kick off the first observance of Recycling Month by joining recycling efforts across the commonwealth.

"In Pennsylvania, we're going to stop throwing away trash like there's no tomorrow," Casey said. "That's what Recycling Month 1989 is all about -- our future, our children and the kind of state we're going to leave behind."
