THE two-week mystery of lost nurse Louise Kerton took a sensational twist last night.

Louise, 24, vanished while visiting her fiance's family in Germany.

It emerged yesterday that the brother of boyfriend Peter Simon is a schizophrenic who was once tried for murder in Britain.

His mother shuns the usual medication for him, in favour of her own treatment.

She is also "petrified" of police after their handling of her son's case. He was acquitted after a two-week trial in 1993.
