Patrick Hape is undergoing a makeover these days, he hopes in more ways than one.
The Broncos newcomer switched full time from tight end during the past couple of weeks to fullback because of a spate of injuries in the backfield. Since then, it's been a crash course in the playbook, even if his new position is similar to the H-back-type role he filled during four seasons with Tampa Bay.
But during Saturday's preseason win in Dallas there was another possible switch for Hape: a transition to a force as as pass-catcher.
