Crude Oil Production. World crude oil production during April 2001 was 68 million barrels per day, down by 1.2 million barrels per day from the level in the previous month.
Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) production during April 2001 averaged 29 million barrels per day, down by 0.7 million barrels per day from the level during the previous month. During April 2001, production increased in Iraq by 75 thousand barrels per day.
