HONG KONG, Aug 14 Asia Pulse - Regional broadband services provider AcrossAsia Multimedia Ltd (AAM) (SEHK:8061) reported a net loss of HK$94 million (US$12.05 million) for the six months ended June 30, compared to a net loss of HK$3 million for the same period in 2000.
Operating expenses increased during the period under review, as the company underwent expansion in businesses such as cable TV, cellular communications and internet services.
Costs pertaining to start-up development, marketing and recruitment also remain substantial, the company said in a press statement.
