Aug. 14--Boone County Lumber Co. has been spending a lot of time and money lately on capital improvements and employee development.
And it's paying off in automated product handling, a unique showroom and a national award.
Started by Howard Eiffert in 1965, Boone County Lumber operates facilities at 1100 Rogers St. and 2112 Vandiver Drive and is co-managed by Eiffert's sons, Brad and Greg Eiffert.
With a fleet of 15 trucks and 32 employees, Boone County Lumber supplies building materials to projects as far afield as Moberly, Mexico, Fulton and Boonville. ...
