IOC NAMES RANCE PRESDIENT, COO; GAGNON EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

SEPT-ILES, Quebec, Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Derek Rance has been named president and chief operating officer of Iron Ore Company of Canada (IOC), announced Chairman Martin D. Walker. He will report directly to Walker. In conjunction with the appointment, Rejean Gagnon, vice president of operations at the company's Carol Project in Labrador City, Newfoundland, will become executive vice president, and executive vice president Robert A. Martin is resigning to pursue other business interests.
