STRIKING AUSTRALIAN TELECOMS WORKERS TO RETURN TO WORK
SYDNEY - A group of 250 striking telecommunications workers at the company Solectron has voted to return to work today after a 48-strike over workers' entitlements.
The decision came after a hearing before the Australian Industrial Relations Commission (AIRC) yesterday in which the company and the union agreed to try to resolve the dispute in private talks.
