The January 2001 meeting of ASTM Committee D01 on Paint and Related Coatings, Materials, and Applications was held January 21-24, 2001 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Highlights
US EPA concerns, such as MACT (Manufacturing Maximum Achievable Control Technology), are being discussed more in D01 meetings. The D01.08 meeting, reported on the status of EPA's hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) program as the Agency moves to complete ten more coating regulations before mid-May 2002.
