Aug. 17--GREENVILLE, Pa.--When a client of Bail USA skips out on a big enough bond, the Mercer County company calls up bounty hunter John O'Bryon.
In his trunk, O'Bryon carries a Colt .45, a bulletproof vest, pepper spray, files of warrants, a first-aid kit, cell phone, laptop computer, books on gun and extradition laws, and several sets of handcuffs and leg shackles.
O'Bryon is the enforcement arm of Bail USA, a privately held company based in a former drug store in downtown Greenville (population 6,700) that last year risked $680 million to supply bail money ...
