NEW YORK, Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Sanitation Commission Brendan Sexton will pay a courtesy call tomorrow (Thursday, Oct. 5 at 10 a.m.) on a team of urban archaeologists from the University of Arizona and other colleges and corporations who are literally digging into the core of the 40-year-old Fresh Kills landfill on Staten Island to explore the kind of trash and the decomposition rate of garbage generated in the 1940s right up to the present.
