ABIX via COMTEX) -- Primary industry experts believe "bush tucker" is a strong growth industry in Central Australia. Phil Anning, of the Northern Territory Department of Primary Industry & Fisheries, told the "Desert Knowledge Seminar" in Alice Springs bush tucker was worth about $A100,000 annually, but had the potential to grow to 10 times that figure. He said the bush tucker industry in Australia was valued at $A15 million per year.
