ABIX via COMTEX) -- A tourism campaign targeting resident South Australians is set to commence in late August 2001. The aim of the campaign is to increase internal tourism within South Australia (SA) within 12 months. The SA Tourism Minister, Joan Hall, says that many residents are not aware of the attractions within the State. Hall also encouraged South Australians to act as ambassadors for interstate friends and relatives. The tourism campaign will cost $A1.7m.
