A visit to Mexico raises questions about the fairness of free trade
My last column as Moderator. I had hoped to write about the signs of hope I've seen across the church, and there are many. But I have recently returned from a heart-rending visit to Mexico, and I must keep my promise to deliver the message the people there asked me to convey.
An ecumenical delegation travelled to Mexico to learn firsthand the effects of free trade on the lives of ordinary people.
