NEW PIG CORP. TO RECEIVE 1989 GOVERNOR'S NEW PRODUCT AWARD

TIPTON, Pa., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- New PIG Corp. has been awarded the 1989 Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers (PSPE) Governor's New Product Award for its PIG(R) absorbent sock, used for industrial and emergency response spill and leak cleanup.

The award will be presented by Gov. Robert P. Casey to New PIG Corp. Chairman Donald L. Beaver Jr. in a ceremony, open to the public, in the Governor's Reception Room, 2nd floor, State Capitol Building, Harrisburg, at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10.
