At 20 years old, Guadalupe J. Sanchez isn't legally allowed to drink alcohol. But he admits he and his friends drank beer Friday afternoon, and, hours later, he got behind the wheel of his 1988 Lincoln.
But Sanchez insists his last beer came some nine hours before a Chicago couple's car pulled in front of his in Schaumburg early Saturday, resulting in a crash the killed the couple and left Sanchez with minor face and neck injuries - and a drunken driving charge.
