Construction Firm Tries to Blast Out Beavers at Tallahassee, Fla., Store Site.

Aug. 21--Maybe they prefer country music, but beavers apparently don't rock 'n' roll.

A construction company is having local rock station Gulf 104 blared over the site of a beaver dam in an effort to rid itself of the rodents that could keep a new Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse from opening at Hopkins Crossing next month.

The plan appears to be working, and officials say they'll install more speakers if the beavers don't come back.
