Aug. 22--The U.S. Treasury Department has lifted an advisory against Antigua and Barbuda that criticized the Caribbean nation's efforts to fight money laundering and advised banks to give special scrutiny to any financial dealings with the country.
Prime Minister Lester Bird was advised of his country's removal from the so-called Treasury "black list" Tuesday morning.
