YOUNG LEADS BARROW BY 46 TO 33 PERCENT IN TV 2/WSU ELECTION POLL
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- A Detroit mayoral election poll conducted Thursday and Friday for WJBK-TV 2 by the Wayne State University (WSU) Center for Urban Studies shows incumbent Coleman Young leading challenger Tom Barrow by 46 to 33 percent with 15 percent of the voters undecided.
Of the 72 percent of the voters polled who voted in the primary election in September, 46 percent said they voted for Young and 29 percent said they voted for Barrow. Forty-two percent think that Young's experience is the main reason for his large lead over Barrow, while 25 percent said it ...
