The University of Wisconsin football team has lost another eligibility appeal with the NCAA and will be without senior starting free safety Carlease Clark for at least two games and possibly the entire season.
The NCAA Committee on Satisfactory Progress denied Clark's eligibility appeal on Tuesday. Although UW will appeal the ruling, the earliest the NCAA would respond is Sept.5, meaning Clark would miss at least two games. He is allowed to practice with the team.
This decision wasn't totally unexpected, and at least it came four days before Saturday's opening game against Virginia. UW lost a ...
