As a Brownie troop leader with two young children of her own, Kimberly Bird has been to more than her share of kids' birthday parties.
Which is part of the reason why Bird, along with husband Greg, decided to open their own business earlier this month.
Called Razz Ma-Tazz, the Elgin business specializes in children's theme parties. The couple also offers dance and music classes for children and adolescents.
The parties, which range from elegant dress-up themes to a Hawaiian or Little Mermaid theme, are the perfect antidote to yet another pizza party or get together at the local bowling alley, Kimberly Bird said.
