Aug. 24--THAI TO EXPAND CODE-SHARE DEALS: Thai Airways International Plc has reached an agreement with its Star Alliance partners Ansett Australian and Air Canada to expand code-share flights.
The move would help THAI to cover more destinations in Australia, New Zealand and North American cities, the national carrier said yesterday.
By October, THAI and Lufthansa will also strengthen their co-operation on a joint-venture basis. Both airlines will share costs as well as revenue on flights between Bangkok and Frankfurt and Bangkok and Munich.
