Today, the Northern Trust Company introduced event reporting capabilities for its Treasury Passport Positive Pay service. Northern Trust Treasury Passport is a web-based suite of information reporting, transaction initiation and image delivery services. The event reporting feature, entitled Alerts, uses proactive notification to inform clients of positive pay exception activity. With Treasury Passport Alerts, clients can instruct the Bank to notify them via e-mail, alpha pager or cell phone with information on the status of positive pay accounts.
