CAPITOL HILL HUNGER FIGHTERS TO BE HONORED IN WHITE HOUSE CEREMONY

WASHINGTON, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Hill Staffers for the Hungry and Homeless of Washington, "a group which sets an example for the rest of us who merely pass the homeless and say 'what a shame,'" will be honored in a White House ceremony on World Food Day, Oct. 16.

The ceremonies will mark presentation of the 1989 Presidential End Hunger Awards by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
