THE PHILIPPINE Basketball Association board opened the doors for a first-ever stint by its players in the Southeast Asian Games, making one of the league's teams available for next month's event in Kuala Lumpur if the country's sports officials find a need for it.
In an unprecedented decision reached during its monthly meeting on Monday night, the league's team owners gave the go-signal for a pro team's stint in the SEA Games in the event the FIBA suspension on the Basketball Association of the Philippines is lifted.
