HOUSTON, Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- RVR Package Testing Center, the packaging R&D Department of Houston-based Riviana Foods Inc. was recently authorized by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to certify that design and strength of hazardous materials packaging will meet United Nations requirements for international shipping, due to go into effect on Jan. 1, 1991.
