The beige brick holding cell at the Dane County Jail has 12 beds, a picnic table, a television and, ironically, a telephone. A telephone was part of why Minnesota Vikings rookie running back Michael Bennett was there in February.
"I was in a holding cell, and I just wanted to bust out of there and commit suicide," Bennett said. "It's a place that I recommend to nobody in this lifetime. Not even for a night. It was an awful experience, but I learned from it. I just have to turn the other cheek."
