NEW ORLEANS, Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ --

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) will begin nonstop daily service between New Orleans and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport on Saturday, Sept. 1. The airline will operate two flights featuring the MD-88 aircraft.

"This new service will link New Orleans to the JFK gateway, where Delta offers nonstop service to more transatlantic destinations than any other U.S. carrier," said Mark A. P.
