NEW ORLEANS, Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ --
Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) will begin nonstop daily service between New Orleans and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport on Saturday, Sept. 1. The airline will operate two flights featuring the MD-88 aircraft.
"This new service will link New Orleans to the JFK gateway, where Delta offers nonstop service to more transatlantic destinations than any other U.S. carrier," said Mark A. P. Drusch, Delta's senior vice president - Network Management. JFK is Delta's largest international gateway, with service to 24 nonstop transatlantic destinations.
