NEW YORK, Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ --
Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) will begin nonstop daily service between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and New Orleans on Saturday, Sept. 1. The airline will operate two flights featuring the 142-seat MD-88 aircraft.
"Delta already serves more domestic destinations than any other carrier at JFK, and we plan to continue expanding domestic service from this airport, the only one in the New York area with expansion capacity," Mark A.P. Drusch, Delta's senior vice president - Network Management, said. Delta recently added more service from JFK to Florida, as well as Los Angeles and San Francisco.
