TROMBONIST and band leader Tad Newton has been influential on the Northamptonshire jazz scene for many years and it is a tribute to his energy and perseverance that, far from reining in his activities, he is in the process of extending them.
The popular Sunday lunchtime sessions at Roade Ex-Services Club are due to resume on Sunday after the customary summer break, with John Burnett's Jazz Band being this Sunday's chosen band.
