ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Sept. 4 /PRNewswire/ --
Liberty Media Corporation (NYSE: LMC.A and LMC.B) today announced that it has signed definitive agreements to acquire six regional cable television companies from Deutsche Telekom AG. Further, Liberty Media will acquire a 100% ownership interest in Deutsche Telekom's Level 4 operator, DeTeKS, as well as Media Services GmbH (MSG), an IT service provider and operator of a neutral digital distribution platform in Germany. The aggregate purchase price is approximately euro 5.5 billion. The agreements are subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of Cartel Authority approval.
