NEW DELHI, Aug 31 Asia Pulse - In an attempt to move part of its manufacturing works outside India, Bharti Group is considering the option of contract manufacturing of high-end telephones in China, for which it has initiated discussion with various players.
"We are in discussion with some players in China for contract manufacturing of phones. We have actually been looking at three options, a joint venture, wholly-owned subsidiary or contract manufacturing and we feel that contract manufacturing could be the best option," V J Prakash, executive direcdtor and CEO of Bharti Teletech (BSE:BTEL), said.
