HONG KONG, Sept 3 Asia Pulse - The U.S. Department of Transportation has tentatively decided to award to Polar Air Cargo the rights to operate three weekly all-cargo frequencies from Hong Kong with local traffic rights between Hong Kong and South Korea.
"Although Polar has served Hong Kong since its inception as a carrier, we have never before been able to integrate that service into our Pacific Rim operations by making lift available to shippers in local Asian markets," Polar Air CEO Mike Snyder said in a statement.
