Sep. 4--The New York Stock Exchange has enlisted Texas technology companies to help throw a little mud on the rival Nasdaq Stock Market.
The Texas companies are happy to oblige. They pay nothing to co-star in the national radio ads, which tout them and the New York exchange.
Even as the tech execs talk up themselves, they bolster the idea that the NYSE -- not the Nasdaq -- is home to the real tech players.
"The greatest exchange of capital anywhere," the chief executive of Dallas-based Affiliated Computer Services Inc. says in one current spot.
