Employers' health care costs will continue to spiral upward, according to a national survey of more than 90 health insurers, HMOs and third-party administrators released today by Buck Consultants, a leading global human resources consulting firm.
In its sixth National Health Care Trend Survey, Buck surveyed insurers and administrators to determine projected increases in health care costs for 2001. Insurers reported the following medical trends for the most common plans.
