An original Star Wars movie poster from 1977 sold for $505, while a press kit for the forgotten "Big Top Pee Wee" movie sold for $550.

But it's not the rare, big-ticket posters that are the bread-and-butter for Reel Deals, a Syracuse-based Internet movie poster company. Instead, it's the $15 reprints of Hollywood's most-loved hits, the Scarfaces, the Titanics, the Greases and the Bravehearts.

"Everybody has a favorite movie, and 99 percent of the time we have a poster for that movie," said David Smith, who runs Reel Deals with partner John Mody. "Whether a college student wants to put a movie poster reprint of "The Matrix' up ...
