The three boys on the left are the villainous Draco Malfoy and his horrible hangers-on, Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle.

Draco's aim in life is to undermine and torment Harry, helped by his two dim cohorts.

However, Harry can afford to smile. For sitting protectively by him are his two best friends at Hogwarts - Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley.
