Crew Development Corporation (Crew) (TSE:CRU.) (OSLOSE:CRU) (FRANKFURT:KNC) is pleased to announce that its African subsidiary, Metorex, has reported a 71% increase in net income to R89million (C$18million) for the year ended June 30, 2001, compared with R52million (C$12million) for the previous year.

A final dividend of R0.12 (C$0.02) per share has been declared, of which Crew will receive approximately R7.7million (C$1.5million).
