American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings, Inc. (AAM), which is traded as AXL on the NYSE, today announced the opening of its new Stabilizer Systems Development Center at the Detroit Forge in the AAM Headquarters Complex in Detroit, Mich.
The 2,900-square-foot facility can quickly produce art-to-part prototype components from numerous formats of computer aided design (CAD) files. In addition, engineers at the Development Center use CAD to modify stabilizer system designs to meet the customer's new requirements.
