VENTECH SELLING CANADIAN BUSINESSES TO INGRAM & BELL FOR C$11.3M

NEW YORK, Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- VenTech Healthcare Corporation Inc. (TSE: VHC) announced today that it has reached a definitive agreement for the sale of its Canadian healthcare businesses to Ingram & Bell Inc., a Canadian healthcare company owned by management and a 49 percent affiliate, MDS Health Group Inc. of Toronto.

The transaction is valued at approximately C$11.3 million, including the assumption of debt obligations.

VenTech in Canada is a distributor of medical products to hospitals and physicians.
