The sex is meaningless, but the makeup means everything as Steel Dragon, a fictitious `80s heavy-metal band modeled on Judas Priest, hits the road with a new lead singer. He's Chris (Mark Wahlberg), plucked from the obscurity of a Steel Dragon tribute band to perform with his idols.
