In my last column, I talked about a local school system that is replacing its Macs with PCs. I discovered this after several people working at the school sent me e-mail, informing me of this issue, and asking that I keep their names confidential.
The school system is East Syracuse-Minoa Central School District. Here's some background: In March, the school had planned to purchase Macs and PCs in a 50-50 ratio. Then ES-M replaced that information technology director with Greg Viola, and the plan changed.
