The number of West Genesee High School students taking advanced placement classes has risen more than 300 percent in the past five years.
This year, 83 percent of the class of 2001 graduated with Regents diplomas.
And, students tallied 77 perfect scores of 100 on Regents exams this year.
"I am incredibly proud of the academic achievement of our students as demonstrated by their performance on the recent Regents examinations and advanced placement examinations," said Rudolph Rubeis, West Genesee superintendent.
