The Clay Planning Board has not let Tricon Global Restaurants Inc. off the hook for a possible full environmental study of the impact of its planned KFC/
A&W restaurant on Route 31.
In a 4-3 vote July 25, the board postponed making an environmental decision for the project proposed for adjoining lots at 3877 and 3883 Route 31, just in front of the coming COR Development Corp. shopping center.
Tricon is seeking approval for both its site plan and its preliminary subdivision plan.
The main question remains the impact the project will have on traffic.
